Some services will accept any photo, charge you, and deliver something that vaguely resembles the original. That’s not how we work. If your photo is restorable, we’ll tell you. If it has real limitations, we’ll tell you that too, clearly, before you spend a single dollar.

We can enhance the quality of almost any photograph, but we can’t guarantee exceptional results when the image is:

• Out of focus or taken at an extreme angle
• Very low resolution or heavily pixelated
• Completely destroyed, missing large sections, or extremely blurry

• Severely overexposed or underexposed with no recoverable detail

If your photo falls into one of these categories, it doesn’t mean nothing can be done – it means we’ll be upfront about what’s realistic before you order.

It depends on a lot of factors, such as the resolution of the photo, level of its damage, the face areas that had been damaged and so on.

• The only thing that matters is the level of damage and the areas that have been affected.
• Sometimes even large areas of damage can be successfully repaired. At the same time, a small damage that covers significant parts of image might become a really hard or even impossible job. 
• The easiest way make sure that picture is suitable is getting a free quote.

Sure, no problem. Colorization can be avoided entirely if you prefer, as it is an optional and extra service.

If you are unsure whether you prefer a colorized or monochromatic version, we can provide you with both (at no additional cost).

We do manual photo restoration for every photo. We carefully restore every type of damage using Photoshop, while making sure every detail remains intact.

Although we use any improvement tools with extreme caution, we do it only at the end, as polishing steps, and, if you would like restoration to be 100% manual, simply let us know, we won’t use any AI at all. You will get a bit less sharp and less enhanced, but a fully AI-free image!

We will avoid any software sharpening tools and work entirely by hand!

You will be able to request an unlimited number of free revisions after receiving the restored file, and we will do our best to restore your photos!

Shortly, no. We restore photos (by “restore” we mean fix damage, remove stains, dust, scratches, cracks, fading, and anything else) by hand, using highly manual, AI-free tools to fix everything above. And then we do one more lap of cleaning the image up, by hand.

We colorize images manually, too, using AI only for the research of colors (to find out the most likely color for some item, such as a car, when we are not sure about it).

Then, and only then, we use AI to carefully enhance the photo we restored and colorized. We take this enhanced layer and carefully blend it in with the original photo, only when and where needed. Making sure we keep the photo accurate and natural, no

We never use AI for restoration, and we never take AI-enhanced layers and just put them over the restored image without blending them.

If you are against AI, we can offer you a fully AI-free photo restoration (slower, thus more expensive)! We were restoring photos before AI came out, and we will continue being human-first after!
